Feathers of Love and Peace is the interior design of the communal spaces of a residential building in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The design refers to the work of Pablo Picasso and to the themes of love and peace. The main staircase in the lobby uses geometric forms shaped by hollowing, cutting, stacking and reorganizing to suggest a dove with open wings. A reception area, a lounge and a children playroom follow. The gym has floor to ceiling windows facing green landscapes. Renewable wood panels, natural stone and low carbon cement are used.
