Wei Dan Chen · CLIENT: Fullhouse Interior Design Ltd.
Fulfillment is a residential interior design for the home of a retired couple. The original layout is largely retained to reduce waste from demolition. A rattan door wardrobe, iron bars and reduced cupboard space create an open and visually transparent environment. Natural materials such as stone and wood keep their texture and fill the rooms with earth tones, so the space looks larger. The house stands in a damp location, so a mineral coating is applied to regulate moisture. Simplification guides the project and makes the residence comfortable.

- Inspiration
- The inspiration comes from the clients, who are both retired and Buddhists. The design reflects the spirit of Buddhism - creating a consistent lifestyle by simplification. Recessed wall lamp and natural light represent luminous mind. The round lamp shows the concept of Buddhist perspective on human fulfillment.
