Hotel New Grand Ready-to-eat Meals is a packaging design for prepared foods, including beef curry, chicken curry and Napolitan pasta sauce. The box is made of cardboard and uses the motif of a stockpot as its main graphic element. The minimalist design avoids the illustrations and food photographs commonly seen on ready-to-eat packaging. The intent is to convey the tradition and prestige of a classic hotel in Yokohama with a touch of wit. The packaging suits meals at home and is also chosen as a gift.
