Lilanz Creative Park is a landscape design for a corporate creative park in Quanzhou, China. The park covers 40000 square meters and was completed in 2021. Silk is used as a guiding element, expressed through curved paving that connects the different functional areas. Sculptures and a stacked spring waterscape add scenes of daily life to the streets and lanes. Ecological permeable bricks cover the large paved areas and work with underground storage modules to collect and reuse rainwater for irrigation. Local plant varieties are used to keep maintenance low.

- Unique Properties
- Lilanz Creative Park sets an Art Life Square to create the atmosphere of the entire park. The overall bright and concise design style caters to the concise but not simple corporate culture and creates extraordinary landscape effects. The curvilinear guiding paving, while ensuring functionality, brings the design concept of "Silk Road" into the landscape. Various types of sculptures create life scenes in different streets and lanes, adding fun to the landscape.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The project features a recycled water supply and drainage system. It can collect the rainwater on the roof and ground of the building as a whole, and part of the collected rainwater is purified by the water storage module and used as water for greening and irrigation. Part of it merges into the artificial water system to form a landscaped river, which is used as a landscape water supplement. The artificial river channel adopts the natural pond bottom and is equipped with a purification sedimentation pond, which cooperates with plants to have a certain ecological self-purification function.

- Production Technology
- When it comes to material selection, the ecological permeable bricks are used on the large pavement surface, imitating stone surface layer. The material itself has good water permeability, and it is used with underground water storage modules to form a water storage and reuse system.
- Design Challenge
- The main plants adopted are local suitable varieties, and the large area adopts small seedlings transplanted into forests. A reasonable distance is reserved to consider the plant growth space for many years in the future. River greening follows the principles of natural ecology and low maintenance, minimizing the necessary manual trimming intervention.
- Project Duration
- With a total area of 40000 square meters, the project is completed in 2021 in Quanzhou, China.
- Operation Flow
- The Chinese garden landscape interspersed in the modern design allows the design to be diversified while creating a different urban landscape. Whether it is a landscape sculpture or a stacked spring waterscape, the details have brought rich changes to the minimalist landscape.
- Research
- The design of the entire project is connected with geometric planting ponds to achieve overall unity with their own characteristics. Through these designs and sculptures, the design expresses the theme of ribbon, creating a high-quality, interactive commercial space.
- Inspiration
- As an extension of Silk Road landscape which is concise but not simple, the Lilanz Creative Park showcases the design philosophy and the core value of Lilanz built more than two decades. Silk is used as an element to run through the entire creative park, connecting different functional areas.
