Production Technology
The bottle is made from transparent PET, which highlights the purity of the product while providing strong structural strength. The images are printed using PET hot stamping with CMYK and spot color printing, featuring localized gold foil and matte finishes to enrich the visual and tactile experience.
Design Challenge
The key challenge was balancing stylistic expression with functional layout, avoiding information overload that could create visual clutter or disrupt comprehension. This was achieved by positioning ingredient images and the product name in calligraphic grids as visual anchors, layering secondary information, and separating content with background color blocks to create a clear reading hierarchy. Repeated refinement through 1:1 prototypes and shelf testing balances aesthetics and practicality.
Project Duration
The project started in Fuzhou in September 2025, with its design completed there in October 2025. It went into production in Henan in November 2025.
Operation Flow
The layout uses a framed window approach, where large color blocks anchor the visual focus. This highlights raw ingredients while keeping key information clear, achieving overall visual balance. The product name is stressed with calligraphic grids, while the tagline and selling points are arranged vertically referencing ancient medical manuscripts and presented in light tones and small fonts beneath the images to create a clear visual hierarchy and a blend of traditional and modern aesthetics.
Research
In a market where beverage packaging often prioritizes function presentation or visual impact, this packaging centers on overall ambiance creation, using organic aesthetics to create a distinctive identity. Realistic images of raw ingredients are used to highlight the natural plant extract qualities of the product. The product name is stressed with calligraphic grids. Together with vertical text layouts and a natural color scheme, they create a distinctive Chinese regimen aesthetic.
Inspiration
Drawing on the homology of food and medicine, traditional herbs like ginseng and Dendrobium are added into the modern soda water. To highlight this feature, realistic images of raw ingredients are used as visual focal points to show the natural ingredients and health benefits of the product, fostering consumer trust. The color palette, green and brown tones drawn from the herbs, creates a gentle, natural impression that speaks to holistic wellbeing.
