Mobility Future Within Reach is a brand communication program created for an educational touring event about future mobility. The centerpiece is a large diorama made of Fine Flute cardboard, measuring 1030 mm in height, 1456 mm in width and 500 mm in depth. Each part was laser cut and then assembled by hand. Interactive mechanisms make vehicles move, buildings light up and the city respond through light, sound and motion. The recyclable material supports the sustainability theme and helps children imagine future mobility through play.

Production Technology
Tacto has chose Fine Flute cardboard to balance familiarity and sustainability, while ensuring the durability required for a five venue touring program.
For the B0-scale diorama, each part was laser cut and then fully assembled by hand, which resulting in a piece that combines high craft quality with a warm, tactile presence.
Project Duration
The program launched at the Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo in October 2025, then toured as an educational program: Nagoya and Osaka in November, Fukuoka in December, and Hokkaido in January 2026.
Operation Flow
When future mobility flies over the city and solves real-world challenges, the city comes alive. To help children feel that “my actions changed the city,” tacto has embedded multiple interactive mechanisms into the diorama. Vehicles start moving, buildings light up, and the city speaks back. Through sensory feedback such as light, sound, and motion. tacto has designed an experience where imagination becomes tangible and impact feels real.
Inspiration
For an educational program where children create ideas for future mobility, we needed a hook that would make the future feel personal and within reach.
Our inspiration came from pop-up books, which familiar to children and rich with depth, motion, and the beauty of paper. By integrating that sense of wonder with the theme of living in harmony with the environment, we shaped a learning experience that invites children to imagine the future through play and exploration.
