- Design Challenge
- The building is located next to a store designed by Paulo Mendes da Rocha, a Pritzker Prize-winning architect. Although it is not a listed heritage site, the store is an important icon for the city. The architectural challenge was to design the new building in a way that respected the store's volume, with alignments, setbacks, and height restrictions that ensure its visibility and preserve its relevance in the urban context.
