Orizzonte 01 is a unique and innovative zip around wallet that combines fish leather and gradient leather to represent the sea and sky. The use of discarded fish skin as fish leather not only reduces waste but also adds an interesting texture to the product. The attention to detail is evident in the height of the coin purse space and the use of top-quality zippers for smooth opening and closing. The creative challenge of achieving a beautiful gradation is impressive, and the result is a visually stunning product that allows users to carry the scenery with them.

- Unique Properties
- The concept is "Carry the scenery with you". The fish leather represents "the waves of the sea", while the gradient leather represents "the changing colours of the sky". The colour variations are named "L'ora blu (Blue Hour)"," L'ora magica (Magic Hour)" and "Il notturno (Night Scene)", with the sea and sky of each hour expressed in fish leather and gradient leather.

- Production Technology
- Fish leather made from discarded fish skin and gradient leather dyed in layers of colour one by one using dyes. In addition, the edges are beautifully finished with high strength by Leather Edge Creaser.
- Design Challenge
- After continually searching for a way to achieve a beautiful gradation and repeatedly making samples, we were finally able to create a gradation leather that we were satisfied with.
- Project Duration
- The project started in November 2021. Samples are completed in December 2022, with pre-orders starting in February 2023.
- Operation Flow
- The height of the coin purse space inside is adjusted in millimetres so that it does not move into the banknote compartment when the zipper is closed. Top-quality zippers for smooth opening and closing.
- Research
- By making effective use of fish skin as fish leather, which would otherwise have been thrown away, the company believes it is possible to reduce the burden on the environment. In addition, the design not only uses fish leather, but also makes use of the fish scale pattern.
- Inspiration
- When I was fishing before dawn and saw the blue hour landscape, I noticed that the scale pattern on the fish leather resembled ocean waves and came up with the idea of a leather item that represents the sea with fish leather and the sky with gradient leather.
