The Orla 55 brand was developed in close collaboration with the architecture firm, drawing inspiration from Brazilian modernism of the 1950s. Its visual identity incorporates clean lines, geometric balance, and subtle references to the era, creating a clear connection between the building, its architectural language, and the brand itself. This unified approach ensures a cohesive and timeless design that reflects both the history and the contemporary character of the project.

Production Technology
The development of the brand identity followed a collaborative and iterative process, combining historical research, architectural references, and principles of modern design. Detailed design development ensured visual precision, while carefully selected typography and color palettes established a balanced and scalable system adaptable to multiple platforms and formats.
Design Challenge
The main challenge was interpreting Brazilian modernist architecture from the 1950s without creating a nostalgic identity. The project required translating historical principles into a contemporary visual language aligned with coastal lifestyle and architectural coherence. Balancing heritage and innovation while maintaining clarity, consistency and market relevance was essential to create a timeless and adaptable brand system.
Project Duration
The project started in February 2024 in Itajai, Santa Catarina, and was finalized in February 2025. It is currently in the final stage of preparation for the official launch.
Operation Flow
Every brand touchpoint, from physical signage to digital platforms, was designed to provide a seamless and intuitive experience. The identity and aesthetic, aligned with the coastal lifestyle, ensure consistency, recognition, and a sense of belonging for residents and visitors. From sales materials to on site applications, Orla 55 extends the promise of design quality into a tangible and aspirational living experience.
Research
The project combines historical research, cultural analysis and strategic positioning to create a brand identity rooted in Brazilian modernism and adapted to the coastal context. As part of the Tropicos framework, the system integrates architectural references from the 1950s with contemporary design principles, resulting in a cohesive visual language that reinforces differentiation, perceived value and consistency across brand applications.
Inspiration
Inspired by Brazilian modernist architecture from the 1950s, Orla 55 was developed as part of the Tropicos conceptual framework created for coastal developments. The project combines architectural research, modernist principles and contemporary design methodology to create a coherent visual identity system aligned with architecture, cultural context and lifestyle, reinforcing consistency between brand language and built environment.
