Posh Buster is a residential interior design for a house of 194 square meters. American walnut and stone form a warm base, contrasted with bold colors, soft curves, and graphic accents. The interior works as one continuous environment, where the kitchen, dining, and living areas connect, while private zones remain intimate. Most of the furniture is custom made and includes built-in and standalone pieces in MDF veneer, steel, and quartz. Interior doors with rounded corners and matte glass allow light to pass between the spaces.

Unique Properties
Rather than following a single stylistic direction, the project embraces a deliberate mix of cultural references and design languages. What might initially appear as mismatched elements, noble materials, bold colours, soft curves, and graphic accents, are carefully composed to create a specific atmosphere. It is precisely this controlled tension that defines the interior’s character. A warm, elegant base built from American walnut and stone is intentionally disrupted by playful gestures.
Dimensions & Packaging
This house is 194 square meters in size and the majority of the furniture has been uniquely crafted to fit the space. The custom furniture includes both built in pieces and standalone objects such as tables, coffee tables, bedside tables, beds, cupboards, and shelf systems. Additionally, the interior doors have been designed with rounded corners and matte glass, which create a beautiful light passsing element.

Production Technology
The interior design process began during the construction phase, enabling precise spatial adjustments without structural alterations. Layout refinements, including repositioned windows and a relocated kitchen, enhanced both functionality and spatial coherence. Custom MDF veneer cabinetry, steel and quartz surfaces define the material palette. A structurally inventive staircase, seamlessly integrated open plan zones, and millimeter accurate 3D modeling ensure exceptional precision, continuity, and execution quality.
Design Challenge
The key challenge was translating a complex, multi-layered concept into a coherent spatial system within an already advancing construction process. Structural constraints, fixed installations, and regulatory requirements limited formal freedom, requiring precise coordination. The project demanded millimetric accuracy and close collaboration with contractors to integrate bespoke elements, hidden systems, and unconventional details without compromising clarity, functionality, or buildability.
Project Duration
The project started in MAy 2022 and finished in September 2025. Project is located in Warsaw suburbs, Poland.
Operation Flow
The interior operates as a continuous, flowing environment rather than a set of separate rooms. Spaces connect seamlessly, guiding movement through soft transitions, light, and material changes. Custom elements integrate storage, structure, and function, reducing visual noise. Hidden systems and precise detailing ensure effortless daily use, while flexible layouts adapt to changing needs, offering a more intuitive, comfortable living experience.
Research
The client’s brief was to create a cohesive, contemporary home balancing expressive design with everyday comfort. The interior forms an open, fluid environment where kitchen, dining, and living areas function as one, while private zones remain intimate. Structural constraints and large garden openings required precise coordination. A restrained palette of wood, stone, and mineral surfaces, combined with custom joinery and sculptural ceilings, defines a clear and cohesive spatial identity.
Inspiration
Ultimately, this house is an exploration of balance: between elegance and informality, order and spontaneity, refinement and joy. It is a space designed to be lived in fully, expressive, warm, and unapologetically personal.
