Villa B is a residential interior design for a 1.5-storey house in Bademli, Bursa. The interior covers 300 square meters, and the ceiling height is 285 centimeters throughout. On the ground floor, custom furniture volumes and integrated door systems replace conventional walls, serving as storage and as space dividers. A roof window above the gallery brings daylight into the interior. Ceramic flooring is used throughout, with a strip of wooden parquet running from the entrance to the fireplace. Walnut veneer panels and light lacquer finishes balance the grey and wood palette.

Production Technology
The interior is designed with minimal walls to create an open and fluid layout, while wooden panels define different spaces. Ceramic flooring is used throughout, complemented by a strip of wooden parquet extending from the entrance to the fireplace. Walnut veneer panels add warmth, while light-colored lacquer finishes on corridor panels and doors balance the overall palette.
Design Challenge
The main challenge was creating functional spatial separation without solid walls, which was resolved by integrating custom furniture as both storage and defining elements.
Project Duration
The project started in May 2022 in Bursa/Bademli and finished in November 2023 in Bursa/Bademli

Research
The design is based on user-centered research analyzing spatial needs, daily routines, and material preferences to develop an open, flexible, and efficient residential layout.
Inspiration
The project was shaped through a detailed analysis of the homeowners’ expectations, which revealed a preference for a modern language defined by dominant grey tones balanced with the warmth of wood. Their lifestyle and daily routines informed the spatial strategy. Preserving the studio’s signature approach, the design aimed to create an open-plan, light-oriented residence that achieves a balanced integration of aesthetics and functionality.
