The space was designed as a temporary exhibition inside a store, aiming to present office furniture in a more gallery like and less commercial way. Instead of a formal retail display, the layout allows each piece to be experienced with more attention and clarity. The dark gray interior of the store acts as a contrasting backdrop for a rich selection of almost monochromatic fabrics and finishes. These tones were carefully chosen to highlight the design and details of each piece while keeping the overall composition calm and visually balanced.

- Unique Properties
- This exhibition was conceived for a retail space with the intention of presenting office furniture in a way that moves beyond the conventional office setting. Rather than emphasizing functionality alone, the design creates an environment where the pieces can be experienced from a more expressive perspective. Through the use of color, materials, and atmosphere, the space becomes a vibrant and sensorial experience that invites visitors to engage with the furniture in an unexpected way.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- 17 square meters of exhibition space inside an office-furniture store.

- Production Technology
- The design process focused on carefully selecting finishes to create a cohesive yet nuanced composition. A predominantly monochromatic palette formed the base concept, while subtle variations in fabric textures and tones were used to give each piece its own identity. Another challenge was working with a limited range of products, as the exhibition prioritized newly launched items for the inaugural event. This constraint required strategic curation and thoughtful spatial arrangement to create visual richness with a small selection.
- Design Challenge
- The challenge lay in presenting diverse products within a single space without visual conflict. The solution embraced a monochromatic palette, allowing each piece to be highlighted individually while maintaining a harmonious and cohesive overall composition.
- Project Duration
- The project started in June 2025 and finished in August 2025. It was displayed in Balneario Camboriu, Brazil.
- Operation Flow
- Interaction happens through movement and perception. As visitors walk through the exhibition, each furniture piece is revealed within a carefully composed visual sequence. The monochromatic palette creates a calm base, while subtle variations in fabrics and finishes encourage closer observation. This approach allows each object to stand out individually without visual conflict, transforming a conventional retail display into a more immersive and gallery-like experience.
- Research
- Type of research was design-focused, aimed at exploring non-commercial ways to present office furniture. Objectives included highlighting product design and creating an engaging, sensorial experience. Methodology combined visual analysis, material studies, and spatial composition. Data collection used fabric samples, color tests, and mock-ups, with feedback from store staff and visitors. Results showed subtle contrasts enhanced perception of each piece. Insights revealed careful curation can elevate product presentation, influencing retail design and customer engagement.
- Inspiration
- Color contrast and color blocks. Cozyness, textures and good lighting. Interesting shapes and compositions. This is a space to feel at home, not at an office.
