Xi Space is a tea house located in Ningbo, China, with an area of 110 square meters. The interior brings together a tearoom, a work area and a display setting for a private collection of tea ware, calligraphy and painting. Bricks, wood, marble and paintings form the main material palette. The layout gives the daily ritual of tea a calm and ordered frame. The design reflects the belief that beautiful objects refresh the mind and that collecting is an act of caring for things rather than a pursuit of wealth. The space is intended for rest, work and sharing with friends.

- Designing a small nice place to relax, to work, to write, to share what he likes with friends. As Hidako Koyama says "To refresh mind with beautiful things."
- Inspiration
- Mihoko Koyama is a Japanese collector and owner of the Miho Museum. She says "Cultivating the concept of beauty can enhance the quality of the mind." She believes that beauty can cultivate noble human emotions, enrich experience and change their lives.
As a designer, he came back from the Miho Museum with an idea: is it possible to make his own collection space, not as big as a museum, but can put his favorite tea ware, calligraphy and painting collection there. - Image Credits
