Xingkai is a hinge designed for large doors and windows. The hinge is made from 304 stainless steel with a 2B finish. Precision snap fit joints with locating pins and slots, together with a reinforced engagement between the hinge arm and the base teeth, provide stable locking under wind pressure above 3.0 kPa. An optimized lever mechanism supports heavy panels and allows one handed opening and closing. A rear sliding parallelogram path replaces traditional tracks that collect dust. The slim form sits flush with the frame when closed.

- Production Technology
- Made from 304 stainless steel with a 2B finish, the hinges have passed 1,000 hours of salt spray tests and 35,000 abrasion cycles, providing excellent corrosion resistance and durability. The refined finish allows them to integrate naturally into modern interior styles.
The slim, integrated form fits seamlessly into door and window frames, which when fully closed, sit flush with surrounding walls, creating a seamless look that aligns with contemporary minimalist aesthetics. - Design Challenge
- The challenge was achieving reliable wind resistance and limit function within a compact form. This was solved through a precision snap fit joints with locating pins and slots on sliding plate and groove and a reinforced engagement between the hinge arm and base teeth to ensure stable locking, preventing loosening or detachment under strong winds. Having passed wind pressure tests of 3.0 kPa, the hinges are suitable for high rise buildings, coastal regions, and other demanding environments.
- Project Duration
- Developed in Foshan, China, in May 2025, the project is scheduled for market launch in 2026.
- Operation Flow
- An optimized structure with a lever mechanism ensures a high load bearing capacity, enabling hinges to support large and heavy door or window panels. The structure disperses the resistance from the weight of the panels, ensuring one handed opening and closing of doors and windows, easing arm fatigue from frequent operation.
A rear sliding parallelogram trajectory replaces traditional tracks that tend to collect dust, improving long term reliability and simplifying daily cleaning and maintenance. - Research
- The hinges systematically innovate high safety door and window hinges, solving long standing issues like low load bearing capacity, poor wind resistance, and difficult opening and closing. With an optimized mechanism, precision bearing structure, and a deep engagement locking system, Xingkai Hinges deliver enhanced structural strength, wind resistance, and user comfort. With slim, integrated design, they eliminate the traditional heaviness of hinges, balancing functionality and aesthetics.
- Inspiration
- The design is inspired by the orderly motion of celestial bodies. Just as planets orbit around stars, Xingkai Hinges use a high precision bearing structure to ensure a smooth, stable rotation during every opening and closing cycle, providing longlasting reliability and silent operation.
