Over Kp.a Tentoonstellingsruimte

KP.A is een tentoonstellingsruimte van ongeveer 1000 vierkante meter in Hefei, China. Het ontwerp presenteert huizen, stoelen en andere dagelijkse benodigdheden als basisbehoeften van het leven in plaats van als luxegoederen. Kubussen van uiteenlopend volume verdelen het interieur in zones met verschillende functies en creëren vrije bewegingsroutes. Hout wordt over grote oppervlakken toegepast om te herinneren aan de graanvelden die ooit de locatie bedekten. Eenvoudige vormen, ingetogen kleuren en helder licht en schaduw verminderen de commerciële sfeer van de locatie en creëren een rustige atmosfeer.
