About High Heel Church Primaire functie: Lichtontwerp

High Heel Church is een lichtontwerp voor een schoenvormig gebouw in een kustpark in Chiayi, Taiwan. De constructie is ongeveer 17 meter hoog en 11 meter breed. Bijna 300.000 kleine glasstukjes en 101 armaturen zijn aangebracht op het stalen frame. Overdag laat het zonlicht het glas fonkelen, terwijl de wind de kleine stukjes op natuurlijke wijze in beweging brengt. 's Nachts geven berekende lichthoeken het gebouw het aanzien van een sterrenstelsel en laten ze de zware constructie lichter lijken. Elk uur wordt een lichtshow met muziek gepresenteerd, aangestuurd door een DMX Art-Net-systeem.

Dimensions & Packaging: The Size of the high heel church is about 17 meters high and 11 meters wide.
It is certified by the Guinness World Records as "the largest building in the shape of shoes".The structure is 1,269 steel frames and the exterior is composed of 320 pieces of blue glass,access to internal browsing.Bringing over poverty,out of the meaning of happiness.
This building is located on a seaside in Chiayi, Taiwan.

Design Challenge: How to connect with this beautiful building in terms of texture .
How to break through the existing body, make the heavy structure light and not crushed.
In the Park, during the day is a place where the sun shines brightly, in the evening there is a beautiful sunset and relaxing sea breeze, and there is a beautiful starry sky at night.
How to coexist with the natural beauty during the day and night, And how to use the sun,the win and the sky in the night .
Research: We get the basic information from the website first .
Then we Interviewed local residents , their basic treatment of high heels church.
We check the design before , which designs have disadvantages and which designs are good .
We analyzed the light , the win , landscape vision , especially the combination of every angle of sight and surrounding buildings.
Inspiration: For present galaxy.We use same material glass to connect with this church.Use 300K pieces glass and 101 pieces lightings to decorated structure.Sun shines will give dazzling light flash.Calculated the weight let win blows the glass will move naturally.At night,calculate light angle,the whole church present galaxy vision.The light spots make the heavy structural more light.Every hour we present a light show with a romantic music. People whether outside or inside can have a romantic waltz
Project Duration: From July 24, 2020 to July 24, 2021 in Chia Yi,Taiwan
Operation Flow: Every hour we present a light show with a romantic music .(Shadow 2) Let the people , whether outside or inside of the church, can have a romantic waltz .
The lighting design we create an immersive performance space , during the show people can walk inside the church , to feel relax , romantic and immersive experience here.
We create the sound , lighting and smoke around the speace.
