About Vanke Yantai Chang An Verkoopcentrum voor Vastgoed

Vanke Yantai Chang An is een verkoopcentrum voor vastgoed in de stad Yantai, district Laishan. Het interieur beslaat 2368 vierkante meter en omvat een ruime lobby met een hoog plafond. Het ontwerpthema is geïnspireerd op de elitaire levensstijl die wordt beschreven in de roman À la recherche du temps perdu en in de film The Great Gatsby. Zwart-witte tinten worden gecombineerd met een eigentijdse kroonluchter om de ruimte een elegant karakter te geven. Kunstinstallaties, zoals een camerabeeld, sluiten aan bij het gekozen thema en de meubelopstellingen.

Unique Properties: This is a sales center located in Yantai city, this project has a really spacious lobby, and high ceiling which is just right for the design inspiration theme. The "Gatsby style" stated that the designer is demonstrating a luxury life style in this space and the art installations such as the camera statue also corresponded to the design theme and furniture settings.

Research: Research started with the elite life style described in the noble "A la recherche du temps perdu", developed based on the movie " The Great Gatsby".
Inspiration: Starting point of the inspiration is the market position and specific location of the project. The space itself needs to satisfy and reflect lifestyle for elites. To show the character the designer chose a very iconic style which could refer back the the noble by Marcel Proust, "A la recherche du temps perdu", and the movie "The Great Gatsby". Black and white together with the contemporary chandelier illuminated the elegancy of the whole space.
