Over Butterfly Acrobat Wijnfleslabel

Butterfly Acrobat is een omhullend etiket voor een fles Chileense wijn. Het ontwerp toont een vrouw die tijdens een circusact door de lucht vliegt, omringd door vlinders. De vormgeving combineert circusbeelden met de bloemen en vruchten die in de proefnotities worden genoemd. Het etiket meet 14 bij 11 centimeter en is gedrukt op zelfklevend papier met een parelmoerachtige zilveren textuur. Het drukken gebeurt in zes kleuren met digitale technologie, en de afwerkingen omvatten goudfolie, mechanisch reliëf en een halfglanzende vernis. Het papier is gecertificeerd voor verantwoord bosbeheer.

Ontwerpuitdaging: The challenge was to create a large format label, whose design would display great personality, which, in turn, could develop a unique concept and manage to contain a great technical challenge both in printing and in its terminations. Incorporating circus graphics, flowers and fruits in the tasting notes, all visually joining the world of butterflies. "Bright ruby red, it tempts the nose with aromas of red forest fruits, exhales delicate scents of cherries and raspberries, combined with the smells of earth and brambles."
Onderzoek: The artist has investigated the history of the circus and, specifically, of Cirque du Soleil, one of the world's best - known entertainment companies which filed for bankruptcy because of the impact of the pandemic. Its most emblematic acts were reviewed, as an inspiration to find the right graphic language. Inspiratie: Butterfly Acrobat is an act of freedom and hope, a poetic response to the pandemic. It is also part of a trilogy of packagings were the graphic stories are a metaphor showing women who are architects of extraordinary acts and where feminine nature is sensitive and powerful.
Projectduur: This project began in July 2020 in Santiago, Chile and culminated in June 2021
Werkproces: This packaging is a gift of CCL Label Chile, a printing press specializing in wine labels for all Chilean vineyards, as a graphic sample of excellence in digital technological execution, in exacromy (6 colors) and the application of terminations.
