Over The Animal Backbone Winkelinterieur
The Animal Backbone is een winkelinterieur in Shanghai, gevestigd in een historisch gebouw dat ooit dienstdeed als slachthuis en nu een cultureel en creatief centrum is. De ruimte beslaat 100 vierkante meter en is opgebouwd uit metalen platen, spiegel en glas. De indeling volgt het looppad van een kat, en een cirkel verdeelt de binnen- en buitenzones. Deuren en ramen bieden zicht tussen de twee zones, terwijl binnenin scènes van een woonkamer, eetkamer, keuken en badkamer zijn ingericht. Het ontwerp nodigt uit tot reflectie over mensen en dieren die samen de stad delen.
