About Love Veggie Interieurontwerp Restaurant

Love Veggie is een vegetarisch restaurantinterieur in Macau, met een oppervlakte van ongeveer 350 vierkante meter. Het ontwerp brengt een bekende lokale traditie naar een eigentijdse setting. Het concept is gebaseerd op de lotus, een vorm die nauw verbonden is met het boeddhisme. Lotusbeelden worden vertaald naar materialen, patronen en vormen. Lasergesneden goudkleurig metaal creëert lotuspatronen, terwijl gladde blauwe bekleding en houtfineer een natuurlijk en elegant karakter toevoegen. Een op maat gemaakt sfeerlicht vormt het hoofdelement van de ruimte. Het interieur is bedoeld om een rustige sfeer te creëren.

Unique Properties: Bringing a Macau well known tradition veggie restaurant into 21st century, this new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms.
Dimensions & Packaging: The site is approx. 350 square meters.

Design Challenge: The main featured lighting is the most challenge, especially the custom made procedure of fabrication and installation. Also need to be resolved the weight of the featured lighting during installation.
Research: This new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms. What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant.

Project Duration: The project started in November 2020 in Macau and finished in October 2021.
Operation Flow: To provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms, to suit client requirement.
