About Science as an Emotional Trend Welkomstscherm

Wetenschap als Emotionele Trend is een reeks welkomstschermen die in 2021 is ontwikkeld voor de mobiele applicatie Sberbank Online. De reeks is opgedragen aan het Jaar van Wetenschap en Technologie in Rusland. Er zijn drie thema's opgenomen: Onderwaterwereld, Door de Microscoop en Neuraal Netwerk. Onderwaterwereld toont foto's gemaakt door mariene biologen. Door de Microscoop laat vertrouwde objecten zien, vastgelegd met micro- en macrofotografie. Neuraal Netwerk toont beelden gegenereerd door kunstmatige intelligentie. Het doel is om emotie te combineren met kennis.

Unique Properties: We would like to see our projects in Sberbank Online not only triggering emotions but also provoking thoughts and serving as the sources of knowledge. That’s why in 2021 we created a series of welcome screens for Sberbank Online mobile app dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology in Russia (2021). The project includes materials on topics such as Undersea, Through the Microscope, and Neural Network. There is a history behind each of them but yet all of them have something in common.

Research: — The Undersea. The project is based on the photos taken by marine biologists who look for, shoot, and show the most amazing creatures that live in the depth of the ocean. We created this project not only to show the beauty of the undersea but also to focus the public attention on ecology issueы, including the issue of the World Ocean pollution.

— Through the Microscope. Among the photos there are those that were taken using micro and macro photography and various other methods and demonstrate the usual things on an unusual scale. The authors caught in their objective the microcrystals of human tears, the Earth’s secret tracks and the intertwining lace threads, the dried up drop of soda water and the wing of a peacock butterfly.

— Neural Network. All the images were created by artificial intelligence SberAI on the basis of the given text. Its shows how technology and art merge in the modern world.

Project Duration: In 2019 we developed and then launched the new version of Sberbank Online app with personalization and emotional design. Now we continue to improving client experience, study our customers behavior and make designs even more personalized. Welcome screens in the Sberbank Online were created шт 2021.
Operation Flow: There are a lot of apps today to cover one need. Almost all of them have well done UX and UI, but we believe that win those who also care about User Emotions. Every user can choose any welcome screen.
