About Azumaen Japans Restaurant

Het is een plattegrond van een restaurant aan de oever van een meer in een nationaal park. Het hokje in de privékamer heeft de vorm van een mandarijneend, en de ruimte lijkt op een vogel die rustig zijn vleugels in een vijver laat rusten. Ook aan het aanrecht van de open keuken en aan de voeten van de tafelstoelen is indirecte verlichting aangebracht om een zwevend gevoel te creëren als een mandarijneend die in een vijver drijft. De hoogte van deze stand verandert spiraalvormig, waardoor het een privéruimte wordt als je gaat zitten. Als je opstaat, kun je het hele ding zien.

Unique Properties: It is a plan of a restaurant on the shore of a lake in a national park. The booth in the private room is shaped like a mandarin duck, and the space is like a bird resting its wings quietly in a pond. Indirect lighting is also installed at the counter of the open kitchen and at the feet of the table seats to create a floating feeling like a mandarin duck floating in a pond.

Production Technology: Each booth was made of bent structural plywood and finished with a cloth that was glossy with natural light.
The lighting plan of the restaurant has a timer set, and the atmosphere changes from day to night.
Design Challenge: Due to the restaurant in the national park, there were many restrictions on the materials and colors that could be used.
It was difficult to make a circular booth whose height changes.
Inspiration: Various migratory birds visit the lake in front of the restaurant every season. It created the atmosphere of a bird resting its wings on a stage that juts out into the lake.
