About Katalon Ho Chi Minh Kantoorinterieurontwerp

Katalon Ho Chi Minh is een kantoorinterieur van 923 vierkante meter in Ho Chi Minh-stad, Vietnam. Het Tech Launch-concept vormt de leidraad voor het ontwerp, met glas, staal en een industriële vormgevingstaal voor een hightech uitstraling. De ruimte wordt door een liftgang in twee delen gesplitst. De externe zone omvat de receptie en een grote multifunctionele ruimte voor overleg, ontspanning en bedrijfsevenementen. De interne zone bevat de werkplekken, met uiteenlopende werkomgevingen en kleurrijke details. Een flexibele plattegrond en verplaatsbaar meubilair ondersteunen agile en hybride werken.

Unique Properties: The new office address the unique collaborations among employees, support the interaction across all departments and foster a sense of community and connectivity for Katalon.

Cultivating the agile working to support hybrid work, the new office update the latest workplace trend to increase productivity as well as optimize the area with flexible floor plan and furniture to easily modify based on the occupants' need.

Production Technology: To create a high-tech look for the Katalon office, ADP prioritized to use glass and steel combined with the industrial design language
Design Challenge: The office space of Katalon is separated into 2 parts due to the elevator corridor. The challenge is how to create a united workspace to connect staff. The solution is to design a big multifunctional space to support employees' discussion/ relaxation and organize big events to strengthen the company culture. The other part serves as the workstation where staff fulfills their tasks with a variety of facilities, tools and equipment.
Research: A thorough discovery process helped us meet DNB’s strategic objectives by engaging in interviews, utilisation studies, surveys, and social network analysis. This helped identify common collaborators among teams, how teams operated and what behaviors should be nurtured.
Inspiration: Learning about the mission and vision of Katalon, ADP-architects propose the "Tech Launch" concept for the new office of Katalon, the global software company, as it aimed to support businesses build better software through practical, cohesive, and innovative test tools.
Project Duration: The project started in December 2021 and was completed in January 2022 at Viettel Complex Building, Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam
Operation Flow: The workspace of Katalon is divided into the external zone and internal workstation. The external parts including the reception area and multifunctional zones embrace a modern, impressive and high-tech look following the "Tech Launch" idea to encourage pride and brand recognition by creating branded visual elements throughout the space. While also embracing the brand images, the working station is more energetic with diverse work settings and colorful design, posters that inspire Katalon's employees and boost creativity.
