About Etern Karaf
Etern is een glazen karaf ontworpen voor het serveren van wijn aan tafel. De vorm van Etern is geïnspireerd op de doorsnede van tijd, waarbij het gebogen contour elk moment presenteert als zijn eigen fragment van eeuwigheid. Glas wordt gebruikt vanwege de transparante eigenschap, die de kleur van de wijn en de lichte verschijning van het object tijdens het decanteren zichtbaar maakt. Terwijl de wijn wordt uitgeschonken, stroomt er lucht door de vloeistof, waardoor deze wordt belucht. Etern wordt vormgegeven door middel van glasblazen, en er is een aangepast proces ontwikkeld om aan te sluiten bij het ontwerp. Het object is bedoeld als een rustige uitspraak voor de tafel.
