About Paper Forest Decoratiesticker

Paper Forest is een decoratieve sticker die groen brengt naar bureaus en andere interieurruimtes. Het ontwerp is volledig gemaakt van papier. Traditioneel papierknippen wordt opnieuw geïnterpreteerd en vormgegeven met lasertechnologie, wat een eenvoudige en moderne uitstraling geeft. Er is geen water, zonlicht, mest of aarde nodig, waardoor de plantvorm blijvend groen blijft. Elk stuk meet ongeveer 70 bij 20 bij 70 millimeter en kan binnen ongeveer vijf minuten worden aangebracht. Er is een reeks accessoires ontwikkeld voor verschillende omgevingen. De productie vindt plaats bij beschutte werkplaatsen die mensen met een beperking in dienst hebben.

Design Challenge: How to "minimal" the design is the main challenge for this project. Less but better is the main aim of the project. simplicity is key and if the idea is good, lesser elements will suffice. Minimalist design today is about reduction, unearthing a message and structuring the content. It makes effective use of blank spaces and creates a high visual impact with only the most essential elements.
We subtract unnecessary structure. We subtract any material other than paper. We subtract printing or other post-processing. We only use paper as a single material and the material itself as the structure. We also add a natural look to the paper with the laser engrave process.
Research: Design Background and reason
Stressful urban life and social networking has always been a source of tension and stress for us. We hope to create works that relieve stress and nourish the soul.

Many people refuse to grow plants because it takes time, knowledge, perseverance and love. [Desktop Forest] is the perfect solution. It only takes 5 minutes to bring greenery to the user's desk. You can "plant" anywhere, bring lush greenery to the desk and bring nature to work and life.

Social Responsibility
[Desktop Forest] is a product produced with the assistance of disabled people in cooperation with sheltered workshops. A "work-friendly" design policy has been incorporated into the product development stage, taking into account the productivity and needs of people with disabilities.

Project Duration: The project started in April 2020 in Hong Kong and finished in November 2021 in Hong Kong, and was start selling in Asia in March 2022.
