About Dakang Themapark

Dakang is een themapark ontworpen voor de Dakang Community in Shenzhen. Het park brengt een eerbetoon aan de lokale brillenindustrie door middel van een kleurrijk ontwerp gebaseerd op brillenpatronen. Interactieve schermen, gebogen spiegels en banken in verschillende vormen nodigen bezoekers van alle leeftijden uit tot ontspanning, spel en fotografie. De installatie is gemaakt van roestvrij staal, LED-schermen en gedrukte lichtbakken, en meet 24000 bij 400 bij 3500 millimeter. Een lange beschadigde muur naast het park werd gerenoveerd om deze in harmonie te brengen met de omgeving.

Research: The Shenzhen Longgang Dakang Community Glasses Theme Park is a unique park that was established by the government to showcase the community's glasses making industry. The park's design is based on glasses patterns, incorporating fashion and colorful styles to represent the "glasses everywhere, but nowhere in particular" feeling.
Inspiration: To provide a leisure space for residents and children in the surrounding community to play, take pictures, and relax, the park has been designed with vibrant colors. Additionally, by using this colorful approach, a long-damaged building wall next to the park has been repaired to harmonize with the park environment.
Project Duration: The project started in January 2023 in Shenzhen and finished in April 2023 in Shenzhen.
