About Wayang Golek Postersreeks

Wayang Golek is een grafische postersreeks gebaseerd op het gelijknamige traditionele Indonesische poppentheater. De reeks toont de poppen door middel van felle kleuren, ingewikkelde patronen en krachtige typografie geïnspireerd op Indonesische kunst. De illustraties zijn gemaakt als vectorafbeeldingen in Adobe Illustrator, waarbij kleurvlakken zorgen voor levendige tinten en gedetailleerd patroonwerk de motieven vormgeeft. Het digitale formaat maakt het mogelijk om het kunstwerk te schalen en te delen op schermen zonder kwaliteitsverlies. Het doel is om de interesse in Wayang Golek onder een jonger publiek nieuw leven in te blazen.

Unique Properties: The "Wayang Golek" project uniquely blends traditional Wayang Golek puppets with modern design. It employs vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and robust typography, reflecting the richness of Indonesian art. The series aims to rekindle appreciation for this cultural gem, especially among younger audiences, offering an innovative, contemporary approach to preserving and promoting traditional art forms.
Dimensions & Packaging: As digital creations, the "Wayang Golek" series offers scale, color adjustments, and design modification flexibility. Using Adobe Illustrator, a vector-based program, ensures high-resolution output for any size without losing quality. The color mode used was RGB. It can be easily converted to other color modes for digital screen displays. The files were saved in .ai format for easy editing and exported in .pdf and .jpeg formats for universal accessibility.
