About Fluctus Design Collection Sieradencollectie
Fluctus is een sieradencollectie geïnspireerd op de gedrapeerde stof van Romeinse beeldhouwkunst. Het ontwerp vertaalt de plooien van klassieke drapering naar gebeeldhouwde, vloeiende patronen die de vorm van het menselijk lichaam volgen. Elk stuk meet ongeveer 25 bij 75 bij 18 millimeter. De vormen werden eerst geschetst, vervolgens driedimensionaal gemodelleerd, in was geprint, gegoten, verguld en met de hand gepolijst. Testprints werden gebruikt om de details en de pasvorm te controleren. De collectie is in vier weken tijd tot stand gekomen in Los Angeles.

- Operation Flow
- I would first sketch out the geometry, and start 3d modeling it to visualize the design digitally. Then, I would test print the model into wax to see the details and ergonomics. The finishing product is then made by hand.
