Camp Napper is een draagbaar kampeerkussen, gemaakt voor gebruik buiten en binnen. De vorm is bionisch, geïnspireerd op de vormen van sporen, schimmels en holle plantenstengels. Uitstulpingen aan de voorzijde verdelen de druk en verbeteren de ventilatie. Blinde gaten aan de achterzijde geven, samen met variaties in dikte, vier verschillende gevoelservaringen en verminderen het gewicht. Het kussen is gemaakt van traagschuim, gevormd met speciale mallen en een schuimproces. Antislip rubberdeeltjes zorgen ervoor dat het kussen op zijn plaats blijft. Verpakt in de opbergzak wordt het kussen samengeperst tot het formaat van een drinkbeker.

Unieke Eigenschappen: The Camp Napper is a portable camping pillow with a special bionic shape. The front protrusions can relieve pressure and ventilate, boosting comfort. the blind holes on the back, combined with changes of pillow's thickness, can offer four distinct feels. The punched holes also cut down the weight and improve compressibility. When packed in the storage bag, it can be compressed to a water cup size for easy portability. Also, anti-slip rubber particles help it fit different camping conditions.
Afmetingen & Verpakking: The size of the pillow is 35cm*30cm*10cm, and when compressed in the storage bag, it is 10cm*10cm*20cm. The weight of the whole pillow is approximately 400g.

Productietechnologie: To shape the pillow core, developers measured and simulated its deformation under volunteers' head, neck and shoulder pressure, then built a math model. Based on it, the bionic structure was obtained via simulation. In production, special molds and foaming process are used, with memory foam of suitable soft - hard degree as the material.
Ontwerpuitdaging: The challenges of the project lie in the product shape design and the process limitations during industrial mass production. To obtain a suitable product shape, designers and developers carried out a large number of simulation calculations.
