Over Free Estonian Entertainment

In dit unieke kunstwerk gebruikte Olga Raag Estse kranten uit het jaar waarin de auto oorspronkelijk werd geproduceerd in 1973. De gele kranten in de Nationale Bibliotheek werden gefotografeerd, schoongemaakt, aangepast en bewerkt voor gebruik bij het project. Het eindresultaat werd gedrukt op speciaal materiaal dat op auto's wordt gebruikt, dat 12 jaar meegaat en het duurde 24 uur om het aan te brengen. Free Estonian is een auto die de aandacht trekt, mensen omringt met positieve energie en nostalgische emoties uit de kindertijd. Het nodigt iedereen uit tot nieuwsgierigheid en betrokkenheid.

Ontwerpuitdaging: Hardest part was to find New idea for old car.
Onderzoek: The project started in June 2019 in Estonia and finished in september 2019
Inspiratie: I was inspired by this old car and an interesting time in the Soviet Union in 1973. A good chance to review were the newspapers from that year.
