Book Text: The Evergrowing ndi kapangidwe ka nthambi ya banki ku Hong Kong, yomwe ili ndi malo okwana masikweya mita 756.5. Mtengo wa nsungwi waku China ndiye lingaliro lalikulu, kusonyeza tanthauzo la kukula kosalekeza mchinenero cha Chinese. Nkhope ya nyumbayi ya masitepe asanu yapangidwa ndi zigawo za aluminium alloy zomwe zakonzedwa m'mizere yowonda yomwe ikuyimira kukula kwa nsungwi. Mtundu wobiriwira wa mtundu wa kampaniyo umawonekera bwino chifukwa cha kakonzedwe kansanu. Popeza holo ya banki ili pansanjika yoyamba, nkhope ya nyumbayi idatsegulidwa ndi magalasi ataliatali kuyambira pansi, kusonyeza utumiki woonekera bwino kwa makasitomala.

- Bringing together the sleek design and slender lines detail, which accentuates the brand colour in green. This is simple yet powerful to define the brand identity.

- IMO design have created a modern facade with aluminium alloy piling a five-storey high building featuring the structure is designed to reference the bamboo growing.
- Design Challenge
- The facade design development needs to balance brand elements, Three-dimensional visual, and building regulations at the same time. The projection from the existing building only allows 350mm. 3D Model and repeatedly partial mockup were reviewed on-site are required in order to get the most perfect result.
- Inspiration
- The Evergrowing bank - With the meaning of ever-growing in Chinese as the bank’s major business statement, the Chinese bamboo tree became the leading concept of the entire design. IMO design have created a modern facade with aluminium alloy piling a five-storey high building featuring the structure is designed to reference the bamboo growing characteristics with interpretation of the bank taken root in Hong Kong with spirit of perseverance and vigorous growth.
- Project Duration
- The project started in Match 2018 in Hong Kong and finished in Jan 2019.
- Operation Flow
- As the bank hall is positioned on the first floor, designer opened up the facade and created a full-height glazing all the way from ground level to the first. This new intervention translates the transparency of customer service complied by the bank.
