Za Diagonal Deski
Diagonal ndi deski yopangidwa mozungulira lingaliro limodzi la geometry, mzere wapachiŵeya womwe umagwirizanitsa ngodya ziŵiri zosiyana. Pamwamba pa tebulopo pamapangidwa ndi matabwa a plywood okhala ndi zokutira za walnut, ndipo mtundu wa zokutira umatsatira chitsogozo chomwecho chapachiŵeya. Miyendo iŵiri imapangidwa ndi chitsulo chokhala ndi kumaliza kwa ufa wa powder, ndipo miyendo yonse iŵiri ikuyikidwa m'mzere umodzi. Mafupa akuluakulu othandizira akubisika mkati mwa pamwamba pa tebulo ndipo amanyamula katundu kudzera m'mizati itatu yifupi kupita ku miyendoyo. M'mphepete mopindika komanso mpata pakati pa pamwamba ndi miyendo zimapangitsa kuti pamwambapo pawoneke ngati pakuyandama.

Za Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award
Diagonal Deski ndi mmodzi mwa opambana a Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award, kuzindikirika kolemekezeka modabwitsa komwe kumaperekedwa kwa mapangidwe a pamwamba, okongola ndi ochititsa chidwi. Opambana a Siliva ndi ntchito zowala kwambiri ndi zolenga kwambiri zomwe zimaonetsa ukatswiri, luso ndi nzeru zakuthwa za opanga awo. Diagonal Deski akuyembekezeka kukhala ntchito yodabwitsa yoonetsedwa, yaukatswiri wapadera ndi yatsopano kwambiri. Mapangidwe opambana Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award awa ndi chopangidwa chodziwika kwambiri ndi choyamikiridwa chomwe chimapindulitsa ndi kukulitsa malire a luso, sayansi, kapangidwe ndi ukadaulo. Diagonal Deski ndi cholengedwa chomwe anthu ambiri amachichitira nsanje, chomwe chimadzutsa zilakolako, kubweretsa maganizo abwino ndi kuyatsa kudabwa ndi chidwi.

- Makhalidwe Apadera
- Diagonal logic was extended to every element and compositional logic of the desk, not only reveals on the layout of walnut veneer of the tabletop, but also applies to structural skeleton that transmits force from the top to stand. Furthermore, the positions of two stands are also aligned to the diagonal guide line of the desktop.

Tabletop of plywood with walnut veneer - Vuto la Dizayini
- The main structural skeleton was embedded within the tabletop and transmits the force thru three mediated columns to the stand. The skeleton was placed at the center line of the desk and holds up two cross diagonal logic. Then connects to two 90 degree table stands.

- The bevel detail of tabletop and the technique to distant stand and tabletop are both meant to lighten upper part of the desk and create a floating illusion.

- The concept of table “Diagonal 45” is initiated from the geometric term which is one line segment joins two nonconsecutive vertices. The connection between each vertex not only creates a tension but also draw a frame to form an area. The idea is to use the simplest geometry to establish a steady and sleek structure of a table.

- The project was made in Oct 2017

- Void and Solid interaction:
If you stand at the perfect diagonal angle from different side of table, you will be given a total different impression of the desk. One is light as modern steel frame glass building, but from the other angle, the desk will be more like solid concrete building. And of course the view and impression will become various when you walk along the table. The balance between dynamic and static, void and solid are swinging between the diagonal lines. - Mamembala a Gulu
