Chilimbikitso: A stool is commonly designed with legs at corners of its seat, while the Cream Stool has legs on straight edges of its seat, which look like natural curved extensions of its seat. It is fused with toys, rather than exists as a separate piece of furniture. It is not only a stool safe and reliable to sit on, but also a ladder for children to reach toys placed high. When turned over, it becomes a toy box. Besides physical functions, it also brings a sense of company, as it can be a fortress, a toy bear’s home, etc.
Nthawi ya Polojekiti: The project started in March 2021 in Shanghai, China and finished in August 2022 in Shanghai,China, and is currently in production.
Mdondomeko ya Ntchito: The wide flat legs are more suitable for children to hold and move the Cream Stool, which becomes a toy box with the upside down. The fully curved shape also enables it to dramatically reduce the possibility of hurting children when turned over. The slightly sunken curve of its seat brings comfortable support. Moreover, the stool can be piled up to save space, and is easy to be concealed in a corner due to its triangular shape.
