About Ryo Mpando wa Manja
Ryo ndi mpando wa manja wopangidwa ngati chinthu chimodzi chosalekana. Mafunde ake amayenda kuchokera pampando mpaka kumbuyo ndipo amapanga mzere wozungulira wosadulika. Kapangidwe kake kanayamba ndi funso lakuti kodi chipangizo cha m'nyumba chodziwika bwino chingapangidwe ndi maonekedwe aufulu. Pamwamba pake pa mbali zitatu povuta kupanga panatheka pogwiritsa ntchito nsalu yotambasuka. Mpando wa manja uwu uli ndi mulifupi wa mamilimita 725, kuzama kwa mamilimita 730 ndi msinkhu wa mamilimita 800. Chigoba chake chopindika chimazungulira munthu amene wakhalapo ndipo chimawonjezera chinthu chojambulika mu malo.

- Production Technology
- Creating the shape of the tertiary surface proved extremely challenging. It was achieved by employing stretch fabric.
- Design Challenge
- Expressing the form of the cubic surface and realising it while utilising the engineers' skills proved extremely challenging. Through repeated discussions, we continued to seek the correct solution until completion was achieved.
- Inspiration
- This project began with the question: could we express the commonplace piece of furniture that is the armchair in a freer form? The idea expanded from the seat to back, the undulations creates an uninterrupted loop.

- The project started in Apr. 2020 in Tokyo and finished in Jan. 2021 in Tokyo, and was exhibited in Salone del Mobile in June 2022.
- Operation Flow
- This unique chair, which adorns the space, envelops those who sit upon it. It promises an experience unlike any other.
