About Infinite Series Mphete

Infinite Series ndi gulu la mphete zopangidwa ndi mizere yoyenda mosalekeza. Mizereyi imayenda pa mphete iliyonse kuchokera kutsogolo mpaka kumbuyo ndi kuchokera mkati mpaka kunja, ikapinda ndi kudutsana. Kapangidwe kameneka kamapereka chidziwitso chowoneka bwino chotsatira njira yosalekeza mu magawo atatu a mlingo (three dimensions). Njira ngati iyi singathe kuonetsedwa m'magawo awiri okha (two dimensions) ndipo imamveka bwino pokhapokha ngati munthu aona mphete ngati chinthu cha magawo atatu. Mapangidwe ndi mafanizidwe zinapangidwa pogwiritsa ntchito njira ya kompyuta yopanga zinthu mwaukadaulo (computational dynamic design system). Mphete iliyonse imapangidwa pogwiritsa ntchito njira ya kusindikiza ndi phula (wax printing) ndipo imasungunulidwa m'chitsulo chakuda chosalala (matte black steel).

Infinite Series Mphete ndi mmodzi mwa opambana a Mphoto ya Siliva ya A' Design Award, kuzindikirika kolemekezeka modabwitsa komwe kumaperekedwa kwa mapangidwe a pamwamba, okongola ndi ochititsa chidwi. Opambana a Siliva ndi ntchito zowala kwambiri ndi zolenga kwambiri zomwe zimaonetsa ukatswiri, luso ndi nzeru zakuthwa za opanga awo. Infinite Series Mphete akuyembekezeka kukhala ntchito yodabwitsa yoonetsedwa, yaukatswiri wapadera ndi yatsopano kwambiri. Unique Properties: The ring is consist of several continuous stream or seam lines flowing over the entire ring from front to back, from inside and outside, folded and overlaid. The design provides the viewer for a visual experience following the continuous loop 3 dimensionally. This continuous loop cannot be experienced in 2D spaces but only through observing as 3D object.

Production Technology: Wax printing and casting in metal (Matte Black Steel)
Design Challenge: One of the biggest challenges in the creation of the ring series was to generate continuous loop within 3D software Technics. A number of prototypes were created to find the final design which shows clear stream or seam lines.
Inspiration: The design of the series was inspired by idea of continuity. The patterns and shapes were generated by computational dynamic design system to create 3 Dimension continuous loop.
Project Duration: The project was developed in 2016 and 2017 in London.
