About Bathing in Coziness Concepcion Interiora Residenciala

Banhar-se dins la Coïndetat es una concepcion interiora residenciala per un ostal de 185 mètres carrats a Taichung, Taiwan. Lo vestibul, lo salon, la sala de manjar e la cosina son dobèrts en un sol espaci, e las particions de muralha solidas son reduchas. Un ecran de grasilha divís lo vestibul, mentre qu'una muralha basa de marbre e la poutra estructurala originala definisson la frontièra entre lo salon e la cosina. Lo bòsc solid natural, lo plaquièr e lo marbre gardan lor aparéncia originala, e la muralha de la television es acabada amb un revestiment de sabla minerala naturala.

Unique Properties: The designer for this project has subverted the design process, where the existing objects are used to think about the presentation techniques of the space, while classical furniture with abundant contours is used as the main visual theme, which is complemented by the mutual stacking of simple and modern frames to create the primary and secondary layers, thereby demonstrating comfortable and carefree home design.

Production Technology: With a breathable house as the eco-friendly concept, solid wall partitions are reduced and replaced with virtual walls, while natural solid wood, veneer and marble etc. are further selected to preserve the original looks of the materials, and the television wall utilized natural mineral sand coating to sculpt the natural texture.
Research: After several communications, the house owner desires for a spacious area without visual blockage, as well as having multiple spatial layers. For this reason, the layout for the foyer, living room, dining room and kitchen are opened up to present a wall-free design concept; the foyer utilized penetrative grid screen for partitioning, offering an illusion between reality and virtuality; the kitchen and living room used marble low wall to form a virtualized wall together with the original structural beam of the building, thereby defining the boundary between the living room and the kitchen.
Inspiration: Knowing the sustainable principle, the designer kept the sustainable value for the design, using natural materials with “less is more” design concept, such that there is no unnecessary design, unnecessary manufacturing and unnecessary waste to correct the mistakes from the past while leaving a better environment for the future generations.
Project Duration: The project finished in 2019 in Taichung, Taiwan.
Operation Flow: Upon entering indoor, the amber-colored foyer cabinet and dark brown sofa chair transform into the visual focus when accentuated by the pure white marble, while the natural light sprinkling down from outside the French window demonstrates a refreshing and bright indoor spatial ambience.
