Dongyi Dunhuang es un ostal situat prèp del desèrt a Dunhuang, Gansu, China. La concepcion s'inspira dels bastiments tradicionals del nòrd-oèst de la region, coma la muralha de tèrra locala e la maison de secatge. Las parets son bastidas amb tèrra piconada fabricada a partir de fanga produsida localament, de biais que l'ostal apareis serèn e sembla créisser dempuèi la tèrra environanta. La superfícia del site es de 41 541 mètres carrats e la superfícia bastida es de 10 299 mètres carrats. Lo plan seguís l'idèa d'un retirament tranquil. Los òstes pòdon se repausar e viure l'istòria e lo païsatge natural de Dunhuang.
