Psync Camera Genie S es una camèra de seguretat domestica d'interior. Lo còs es modelat amb de formas geometricas simplas, e l'estructura plegabla mòstra l'estat de foncionament actual per la direccion e lo movement. La forma de bóstia dobèrta permet de barrar la camèra quand es pas utilizada. La tèsta en forma de L ten un modul de camèra compacte, formant una pichona unitat de doble axe. Los imatges son enregistrats en resolucion 2K dins un format vertical de plen ecran. Lo còs de plastic es moldat per injeccion, la lentilha es de veire polit, e las cobertas de l'axe son de metal usinat.

- Production Technology
- The Genie S is designed in homage to the Bauhaus and we emphasize more on the functional and practical abilities. Without complicated design, we use simple,clear geometrical forms to shape the body of the product, hoping it can perfectly serve the functions. We differentiate our product from competitors by innovating transformable design. The current working state can be easily checked due to the directional and deformation abilities, providing uses all-new experience. The L-shaped head section not only perfectly solves the problem of the views of camera,but also infuses a unique and vivid vitality into the product.The product body is made of plastic PC material and mold injection molding process. This process has high precision, can ensure consistency, and can be produced in large scale. The lens adopts glass grinding process, and the glass has high light transmittance and imaging ability. The covers at both ends of the shaft are made of metal CNC oxidation process to cover the transmission mechanism and enhance the quality of the product.
- Design Challenge
- Psync's goal is to create personalized experiences and change the way people interact with technology. Genie S should have a vivid personality and be a safe and reliable companion in people's lives. Psync hopes to provide users with a unique experience. Therefore, this project has done a lot of morphological research, and ultimately hopes to bring a very clear usage status to users through the product's deformation ability. Due to the standardized production of motors and cameras,the current home security cameras on the market have converged. The camera component re-developed by Psync is very small and can be placed on the L-shaped head area. The highly integrated mechanism design makes it the smallest dual-gimbal camera.
- Research
- Competitive product analysis, Conduct desk research on similar products in the current market, including analysis of functions, features, forms and costs, to find innovation opportunities and directions. The concrete design of the brand concept uses the overall shape, curves,surfaces and detailed features to sort out a unique form of expression and form a unique design language. Computer-aided completion of three-dimensional surface modeling, simulation and component stacking of products. In order to meet the product form, self-developed camera modules include optical design, device selection, electronic material patching, etc. Mold design, complete the plastic mold simulation design and simulated molding of the product through computers. Thermal simulation, through computer-assisted thermal testing at full load power, ensures the continued stability of product operation.

- Project Duration
- The project started in San Jose, USA, in December 2021, and completed all industrial design work in Beijing in October 2022. The first batch of mass production was completed in October 2023, and it will be sold on the official website of Psync in the United States in November 2023.
