Formation 01 es un grifon de banh d'edicion limitada. Lo dessenh combina una forma esculturala amb una engenhariá avançada e es fabricat en Neolast, un material compausat que permet una textura inesperada e de colors ricas e saturadas. D'angles impressionants e un acabat Haptic Orange audaciós s'alunhan de las esperas tradicionalas per un grifon. Una via d'aiga intèrna estampada en 3D crèa un flux d'aiga en napa. Una placa d'escuçon en fonta gaufrada fa referéncia a una longa istòria d'innovacion dels materials. Lo grifon mesura 300 mm de largor, 207 mm de prigondor e 135 mm de nautor.

The Kohler x SR_A collaboration embraces Samuel’s avant-garde artistic approach while honoring Kohler’s 150-year legacy of innovation and craftsmanship in the development of a new design language for water solutions. - To realize Samuel Ross’ creative vision, Kohler invited him to explore an advanced new composite material that offers boundless form, unexpected texture, and rich, saturated colors. A 3D-printed internal waterway was developed to accomplish the unique sheet flow effect. An embossed cast iron escutcheon plate celebrates our collaboration in an homage to Kohler’s history of material innovation.
- Inspiration
- Combining dynamic gesture with advanced engineering, Formation 01 takes a familiar object and reimagines it as a functional sculpture in Kohler's dynamic Neolast composite material.
- Project Duration
- This project was initiated in late 2022 with collaboration between Kohler and SR_A's studios in the US and UK, respectively. The project launched at Design:Miami in 2023.
