Dot Sofia es un edifici mixte per eveniments e vida urbana a Sofia, Bulgària. La estructura de dos volums acuèlh un espaci d'art contemporanèu e d'eveniments, un restaurant emblematic e d'unitats residencialas. Dot Sofia se dreça dins lo quartièr istoric del mercat, una zòna longtemps ligada al comèrci e negligida dins las darrièras decennias. La façada es facha d'acièr rovilhat e rapèla la materialitat ancianenca del quartièr. De persianas de talha desmesurada se dobrisson e se sarron, seguent lo ritme de la vida del mercat. L'edifici foguèt acabat en 2023 e possedís una superfícia bruta de 1576 mètres quadrats.

- Unique Properties
- Embedded in the urban complexity of the biggest street market in Sofia the simple two volume structure of DOT Sofia building manifests unexpected different faces and scales from the possible viewpoints. The hybrid program of intertwined contemporary art and events space; signature restaurant and design urban living are injected in the rather neglected historic heart of the city with the clear ambition to redirect its inevitable transformation. The rusted steel facade preserves the characteristic aged materiality of the area while the dynamics of the oversized shutters follow the rhythm of the market life.

Neglected for the past decades, it is now evolving into a multi-cultural melting pot. DOT Sofia aims to contribute to the rediscovery and evolution of this still hidden urban cultural area.
