Cultural Link es un espaci de trabalh collaboratiu concebut per als arquitèctes e dissenhaires d'interior a Manama, Bahrain. Lo complèxe de 888 mètres carrats combina los principis tradicionals del design bahrenian amb de mòbles e d'òbras d'art contemporanèas. D'edificis separats definisson de burèus privats, d'espacis de co-working, un cafè e una bibliotèca de materials. De grandas fenèstras connèctan los espacis partejats, mentre que de materials absorbents del son favorisan un trabalh tranquil. Se son utilizats de materials locals coma la pèira calcària, l'argila e lo bòsc de palmièr, en rendent omenatge al saber-far regional e en sosteniant la durabilitat.

Production Technology: This project prioritizes local materials and celebrates regional craftsmanship, resulting in a space that is highly functional for designers. The layout draws on traditional Bahraini design principles, incorporating spatial organization that features a blend of enclosed volumes and open circulation paths. This design fosters a sense of community while promoting interaction throughout the space. Each furniture piece enhances the aesthetic value, while techniques such as material layering and the use of sustainable finishes contribute to a cohesive atmosphere.
Research: The research for this project involved an exploration of materials commonly used in Bahrain, emphasizing local craftsmanship and sustainability. We conducted an analysis of indigenous materials like limestone, clay, and palm wood.
This investigation highlighted the importance of these materials in reflecting the region's heritage and how they can be effectively integrated into modern designs. By incorporating these local resources, we aim to create a workspace that resonates with the culture and supports environmental sustainability, ultimately strengthening the community's connection to its heritage.
Inspiration: Inspiration at Cultural Link is derived from its location near Bahrain Fort, reflecting the historical significance of the site and emphasizing local craftsmanship. The workspace is designed to foster creativity through a unique atmosphere that allows designers to explore new ideas while honoring the region's cultural heritage.
Project Duration: Manama Bahrain
Operation Flow: The space is designed to enhance efficiency and interaction. The layout connects public areas like the co-working space, coffee shop, and material library through large windows, creating a sense of openness and accessibility.

Dedicated zones for quiet focus are placed alongside communal spaces, encouraging collaboration and idea sharing. Sound-absorbing materials help minimize distractions. Overall, this design fosters a strong sense of community and boosts productivity, making it an ideal environment for creativity and teamwork.
