Kavi es un clip d'assemblatge per pression concebut per jónher de quadres de talhas diferentas. Lo clip combina una brida simetrica en forma de L amb de lengüetas flexiblas, çò que permet d'assemblar e de separar los quadres a la man sens aisinas. Los quadres de 8 a 20 millimètres d'espessor son suportats, e la disposicion pòt èsser cambiada a tot moment. Cada clip mesura 5 per 3,2 per 1,4 centimètres e es fabricat en POM de nauta resisténcia, un materiau resistent a l'usadura e a la flexion. Los clips demòran amagats darrièr los quadres, atal la vista frontala demòra neta.

- Unique Properties
- The Kavi multi-size frame snap fasteners feature an innovative symmetrical "L"-shaped clamp and flexible clips, allowing for tool-free, easy installation. They support various frame sizes and arrangements to meet different needs in any setting. Made from strong, wear-resistant POM, the modular design is both durable and flexible, making them a smart upgrade from traditional connectors.

- Design Challenge
- Throughout the product design and implementation process, we focused on resolving key challenges such as single-handed installation, multi-size frame compatibility, and ensuring stability without deformation when suspended. By employing an innovative Kavi press-lock mechanism, we achieved tool-free, rapid assembly with just one hand. The adjustable Kavi clamping structure guarantees a secure connection for frames ranging from 8 to 20mm in thickness. High-strength POM material and a concealed Kavi rear clip ensure both safety and elegance whether the frame is upright or hanging. Moreover, we conducted multiple rounds of user testing across various assembly scenarios to refine the mechanical structure of the Kavi clasp, minimizing loosening and wear over prolonged use. Intuitive Kavi guides were also incorporated into the packaging and instruction manual to further lower the threshold for use. These innovations and meticulous refinements have not only elevated the user experience and product practicality but also established a solid foundation for future Kavi product iterations and multi-scenario applications.
- Research
- Through our investigation of similar frame connectors available on the market, we discovered that most existing products tend to be cumbersome to install, are compatible with only a single frame size, and often lack aesthetic appeal. Approximately 30% of users report difficulties with assembly and disassembly. In response to these issues, we have introduced the Kavi tool-free combination buckle that accommodates frame sizes ranging from 8 to 20mm. Crafted from POM material, each Kavi buckle can be installed in under five seconds. While assembling frames using traditional methods typically requires thirty minutes, our innovative Kavi accessory boosts installation speed by 80% and supports one-handed operation, significantly enhancing both efficiency and convenience.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration for the design of the Kavi multi-size frame clip stemmed from the desire of users to freely combine picture frames of various dimensions. To meet this need, we have pioneered a tool-free snap-fit structure, significantly streamlining and expediting the assembly process. Through this elegantly simple clip design, frames of any size may be seamlessly joined together, greatly enhancing compositional flexibility while preserving an overall sense of harmony and visual appeal.
- Project Duration
- The project commenced in Shenzhen in December 2024 and is expected to be completed there by July 2025.
- Operation Flow
- The Kavi frame buckle is exceptionally easy to operate; users simply select the required number of buckles according to the desired arrangement of frames. To use, align the buckle with the adjoining edges of the frames and press gently from side to side to secure them firmly, all without the need for any tools. The sequence and configuration of the frames can be adjusted at any time, and disassembly is equally effortless. The buckles remain concealed behind the frames, ensuring a neat and elegant appearance from the front, allowing for the seamless and visually pleasing assembly of frames in a variety of sizes.
