A key difficulty was translating complex knowledge into clear visual narratives while maintaining accuracy. Integrating material techniques such as tracing paper and lenticular printing into a unified design system also required experimentation. These issues were addressed through iterative prototyping, visual refinement, and balancing content, material, and user experience.
- Recèrca
- This project is a qualitative design research study exploring how book design can communicate local environmental knowledge and emotional experience. Field observation in Muzha, visual documentation, and analysis of natural elements were conducted. Data was collected through photography, sketching, and iterative material testing. Prototypes were evaluated by local residents and design focus groups. Results indicate that layered materials and interactive elements enhance engagement and comprehension. The research demonstrates how design methods can transform complex information into accessible and meaningful experiences.
- Inspiracion
- This project is inspired by the natural landscape of Muzha, where the city meets the mountains. It is motivated by a desire to revive a sense of curiosity toward nature, similar to the wonder experienced in childhood. By focusing on overlooked plants, animals, and landforms, the project aims to transform local knowledge into an engaging experience and encourage a deeper connection with the environment.
