A prepaus de Cotton Spate Consòla d'Exposicion

Cotton Spate es una consòla d'exposicion concebuda per una botiga efemèra (pop-up store). La consòla presenta un pichon nombre de produches per que l'atencion demòre sus cada article. Sa forma es inspirada dels camps de flors de coton Pima organic, que creisson al costat d'un lac al Peró. Una susfàcia blanca tridimensionala e ondulanta sosten de plats metallics circularis prims que pòrtan los articles. La partida ondulanta es en escuma de nauta densitat, formada a la man a partir d'un modèl informatic, e los plats son en metal pintrat de blanc. Lo comptador e l'enclaus exterior son fabricats en fusta. Un espaci d'emmagazinatge es plaçat jos la susfàcia ondulanta.

Proprietats Unicas: The typical pop-up store console place too many products that the customer loses their interest in those products immediately when they see the messy condition. However, the Cotton Spate minimizes the amount to emphasize the importance of products by the purity.

Tecnologia de Produccion: The wavy material is high-density foam and crafted by hand by referencing a three-dimensional computer model. The circular surface is white painted metal inserted into the high-density foam. The counter and outside enclosure of the console is crafted by the carpenter with wood.
Desaffo de Dissènh: The hardest part of this project is to compose the right material and tools for archiving a three-dimensional surface portion due to the budget limitation. Usually, the best ways to compose such a design, it is best to utilize CNC digital fabrication, however, it costs too much for this pop-up shelf. In the end, the attentive solution is to incorporate other industry master craftsmen to cut the high-density foam by hand by referencing the computer model.
Recèrca: The main objective of this project is to find the most efficient ways to craft a three-dimensional surface by choosing the right material and crafting tools. By incorporating other industry skills, the design archive the minimum expanse to assemble the shelf.
Inspiracion: The inspiration for the design is the filed of organic Pima cotton flower which the brand exclusively used for its product. The Pima cotton flower grows by the lake in Peru and it creates a strong impression of purity. The shelf incorporates the identity of the brand by creating a white three-dimensional wavy surface and host circular thin metal plates to present their items.
Durada del Projècte: The design phase started in July, finished construction in September and opened to the public on October 2019.
Flux Operacional: The customer accesses from the front side to the items, while the store operator stands behind the counter. There is also storage space underneath of wavy surface console to keep their stock for sales.
