ਸੈਲਫੋਰਸ 1960ਵਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਧੁਨਿਕਤਾਵਾਦੀ ਵਿਲਾ ਦੇ ਨਵੀਨੀਕਰਨ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਹੈ। ਮੂਲ ਵਿਲਾ ਨੂੰ 1980ਵਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਵਾਧੇ ਨਾਲ ਅੰਸ਼ਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਨਵਾਂ ਡਿਜ਼ਾਈਨ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕਤਾਵਾਦੀ ਚਰਿੱਤਰ ਦਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤਿੰਨ-ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਘਰ 200 ਵਰਗ ਮੀਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਪੌੜੀ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਵਿਵਸਥਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਹਵਾਦਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਫਟ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ੇ ਵਾਲਾ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਮੁਹਾਂਦਰਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਇਕੱਠੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੂਲ ਲੱਕੜ ਦੇ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਵਾਂ ਮੁਹਾਂਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਖਿੜਕੀਆਂ ਜੋੜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ। ਘਰ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਬਾਹਰੀ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ।

- The house is a rehabilation of a 1960´ modernist villa, which was partly destroyed by a prefabricated design in the 80´s. Much effort has been made in making a modern design in respect of the 60´s moderninst design.

- Upcycling - The house is a original 1950 house that was refurbished in the 1980´s. We have reused the original wood construction of the house and added new facade, windows, and moved interior walls.

- The house is a rehabilitation of a modernist villa from 1960 which was partially destroyed by a prefabricated design in the 80's. The house is centered around and central staircase that acts as air ventilation shaft between the different floors. A lot of work has been put into creating microclimatic spaces around the house to provide shelter and outdoor spaces for the residents.

- The house follows the rhythm of nature. You wake up with a view to nature and morning sunrise. In the kitchen and living room you enjoy the midday and afternoon sun. The house follows the natural southern inclined terrain and collects energy from the sun. The house is naturally ventilated through a central staircase.
