- The Chinese ancestors considered dragon the symbol of luck and the master of winds and rains. On the Dragon Boat Festival, the Eastern Star, representing the Azure Dragon will rise to the sky, which is called Dragon skies in Chinese classical astrology. Therefore, Wu Yue tribes whose totem is the dragon will hold a grand totem sacrifice to pray for the eradication of epidemics and influenza and the fortune of the world.
