About House of Dream Sztuka Publiczna

Dom Snu to instalacja sztuki publicznej zainstalowana w Shenzhen, w Chinach. Rzeźba wykonana jest ze stali nierdzewnej, oświetlenia LED oraz płyty poliwęglanowej z powłoką półprzepuszczalną (efekt jednostronnego zwierciadła), a jej wymiary wynoszą 320 centymetrów szerokości, 120 centymetrów głębokości i 400 centymetrów wysokości. W ciągu dnia refleksyjna powierzchnia odbija otaczające środowisko. Nocą zmieniające się światło tworzy wewnętrzną przestrzeń. Odwiedzający interaktywnie oddziałują na dzieło, zmieniając efekty świetlne. Rzeźba odnosi się do podobnego wyglądu wielu nowych budynków mieszkalnych i przywołuje wspomnienia domu.

People's understanding of home is no longer what it used to be, and the buildings in communities are monotonous rather than diversified. In terms of this sculpture, it would like to animate the space and remind people of their memories of home using lighting. From the visual sense to the spiritual exploration, people can feel the warmth from the old houses and create a poetic dwelling.
