About Citychamp Dartong Plaza Budynek Biurowy Siedziby Głównej

Citychamp Dartong Plaza to budynek biurowy zaprojektowany jako siedziba główna korporacji z kreatywnymi biurami w Fuzhou, w prowincji Fujian w Chinach. Budynek zajmuje 37 350 metrów kwadratowych na pięciu kondygnacjach i mieści siedzibę główną firmy, trzy biura spółek zależnych, lokale handlowe oraz przestrzenie wspólne. Kolisty plan zorganizowany jest wokół dużego dziedzińca, nawiązując do tradycyjnych domostw tulou z Fujian, podczas gdy wertykalny rytm fasad odwołuje się do lokalnego drewnianego szkutnictwa. Zielone atria i wspornikowe tarasy osłaniają ciągi komunikacyjne i ograniczają straty energii.

Production Technology
To create a living showcase of the best ecological practices, the volumes are basically shaped by their green features, both on the inside (generous green atriums that concentrate the circulations), and on the outside (complex system of cantilevered terraces creating sheltered spaces that minimize energy losses and allow building users to move around the building during extreme weather conditions).
Design Challenge
CREATING AN URBAN LANDMARK
Emergent development poles sometimes need strong urban landmark to create identity, attract talent and spur growth. Through its daring urban mass and innovative architectural treatment, The Office Hub is set to become one of the most recognizable icons of Fuzhou metropolitan area.
GIVING TRADITION A MODERN SHAPE
The architectural answer strongly brings local traditions into focus, combining the circular typologies of Fujian Tulou with a façade reminiscent of a wooden ship’s hull that creates bountiful opportunities for sustainable technologies, while also fostering public space.
Inspiration
FUJIAN TULOU
The general massing of the building is informed by a traditional local typology that features an exquisite circular layout centered around a generous courtyard, one that both protects and cultivates the community.
SHIPBUILDING
Echoing a wooden ship’s hull, the compelling vertical rhythm of the main facades pays tribute to the local tradition of shipbuilding, for centuries part of the economic and cultural landscape of Fuzhou.
Project Duration
The project is located in the bustling manufacturing hub of Fuzhou in Southern China's Fujian province. NDA Group won the masterplanning & architecture design competition of in 2014, then proceeded with the preliminary and detailed design. The building is nearing completion in 2020.
Operation Flow
Since the building will accommodate the client's headquarters, but also the offices of their affiliate companies, special care is given to strengthen the interaction and cohesion of the different teams sharing the office floors. By arranging the working spaces around a large outdoor patio, the building's organization invites interaction and community building on its extensive green outdoor terraces, that can be used for impromptu meetings or for large corporate events. The ample provisions of F&B / retail spaces on the ground floor ensure that the building responds to all the requests of the millennial workforce, from creative working spaces to easily accessible facilities such as cafes, banks, gyms, etc.
