About The Grandeur of Bungalow in Penthouse Projektowanie wnętrza penthouse'u

It is an inward looking house. Along with aesthetics, in entire house light & shadows create different dramatic effects through out the day and year. Proper cross ventilation is ensured keeping the house airy all the time
- Design Challenge
- Since this is Penthouse, the other floors design was fixed, respecting the the structural designer who has already designed the entire building, we tried not to do any of the structural changes, yet east side fins, triple height central area, skylights and spatial planing of public area like living, dining, kitchen area is done
- Inspiration
- The client is from Gujarati family, so his requirement was to have a home which reflects his way of living & lifestyle
The first thing that catches your eye is the Pichwai art that spans an entire wall, followed by a striking wooden swing, these local elements make space contemporary with the essence of Gujarati culture.
The entire east side of the house opens up by means of vertical fins, creating an aesthetic dance of shadow and light, whilst also it receives ample cross ventilation - Project Duration
