About Have A Good Tea Opakowanie na herbatę
Have A Good Tea to projekt opakowania japońskiej herbaty smakowej produkowanej w historycznym mieście Kawagoe.

- Unique Properties
- In Japan, there is a custom of Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) during the cherry blossom season. This tea was created to enjoy the season of Hanami with its fragrance and taste. To complement the cherry blossom and night cherry blossom flavors, the package was created with a landscape.
By adding hand-drawn watercolors to the simple yet intricately arranged artwork, the result is a design that mixes a modern and traditional feel. - Dimensions & Packaging
- (W)85mm x (D)20mm x (H)150mm

- Production Technology
- To express the freshness and fragility of cherry blossoms, an original hand-drawn watercolor painting was used.
The product logo area is embossed to differentiate its outline from the background illustration.
The box is easy to hold in your hand and is made of recyclable, non-glossy high-quality paper. - Design Challenge
- The difficult part of this design was to combine a traditional yet new design to convey the tea culture and history to a new generation. The illustration is based on an actual landscape, and the new design is simple, visually expressing the old and new, aroma and taste.
- Research
- This product originated in the historic city of Kawagoe, with the aim of passing on the culture of enjoying tea time to the younger generation, as the consumption of tea at home is declining across the country. As an entry model for tea culture for the generation that does not have the habit of enjoying tea at home, we created a familiar flavored tea with added sweetness and aroma, and incorporated it into a gorgeous design that is easy to pick up.
- Inspiration
- Kawagoe is a historical city in Japan, with cherry blossoms in full bloom and wonderful scenery using tea and herbs as ingredients.
The package was created with that scenery and the domestic tea leaves used as ingredients as inspiration for the seasonal scents of cherry blossom leaves, herbs, and fruits. The aim is to bring the taste, aroma, and scenery into one product. - Project Duration
- This project started in october 2018 in Kawagoe and finished in February 2019.
- Operation Flow
- The package is made of eco-friendly high quality paper and can be easily disassembled and recycled. The gorgeous seasonal design is eye-catching and popular as a gift.
